SAVCO Celebrates the Successes of 2022

On December 8, 2022, SAVCO held a Holiday Party attended by members, spouses, and guests celebrating our successes for the year 2022. Kari Skaggs and Michele Cary did a fantastic job organizing this fun event. Jack Ross, President, recognized the many new members in attendance.

Special awards were presented to Louis Pescevic for his outstanding photography at the 2022 Golf Event, Gordy Garvey for his leadership in coordinating the 2022 Golf Event, Dave Fanning for overseeing the Silent Auction and John Martinez & Katheryn Stillman for their diligent work in coordinating 89 Flags on 89A.

Sergeant Dominguez accepted a $600 donation for the Sedona Police Emergency Fund., to be used to provide hand warmers, blankets and $50 Visa Cards for those that are homeless.

Sedona Community FoodBank’s Executive Director, Cathleen Healy Baiza, accepted a generous donation of S1,000. SAVCO has donated to SCFB for the past 3 years and SCFB is so grateful for the support which has such a profound impact on their goal of trading hunger for hope.

Donation to Sedona Public Library

Judy Poe from the Sedona Public Library, accepted a $1,000 donation for pavers for their outdoor patio, each paver to name a branch of service.

The holiday potluck was enjoyed by all with a delicious assortment of food followed by a fun white elephant gift exchange.
