Sedona Community Food Bank & St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry Donations
Cathleen Healy-Baiza of the Sedona Community Food Bank and Michele Inglis-Zahner of St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry each received donations of $400 from SAVCO Treasurer, Al Coxe at SAVCO’s November 11 meeting. Donations were greatly appreciated with the holiday season approaching.
The Sedona Community Food Bank is a non-profit, community-supported organization, which provides food and assistance to people in need, specifically for those who live in Sedona, Village of Oak Creek, Cornville, or Page Springs. They have a weekly food assistance program, a monthly homebound program and weekend “backpack program” for qualifying Sedona students.
St Vincent de Paul Food Pantry provides food to anyone arriving at the pantry every Thursday from 9 am to 11 am. Volunteers are welcome and can participate in stocking, shelving, storing, and distributing food.
