SAVCO Academic Scholarship Application

The Sedona Area Veteran & Community Outreach Scholarship is available to graduating Seniors from Sedona Red Rock High School.  This $2,000 scholarship will be awarded at the completion of the student’s first year and is renewable for two additional years, upon receiving transcripts (certified) no later than July 15 each year.

Criteria: Recipient must attend an Arizona Institution of Higher Education; student must have participated in school activities and performed some community service.

Online Application Instructions

Paper applications will be accepted, but online applications are preferred.

 Deadline for applications is Friday, March 28, 2025.

• Have everything ready before you begin working on your application.
• All questions must be filled out to submit your application.
• There are several short essay questions (250 words maximum).  Please do not exceed this limit.  Write your answer in Word first, checking spelling, grammar, etc.  Then cut and paste your answer onto the online application.
• Three documents need to be uploaded onto the application.  They need to be pdf files no larger than 10 MB.  These documents are your High School transcripts, a Letter of Recommendation and a list of school activities, a list of community service and leadership roles.
•  You will need to be  signed in to Google to upload files.
• You will receive a message and email after submitting your application which will include a link to edit your responses.  The opportunity to edit your responses will close on March 28.
