SAVCO Higher Education Scholarships

Empowering the Next Generation Through Education and Opportunity

SAVCO (Sedona Area Veteran & Community Outreach) is honored to support graduating seniors from Sedona Red Rock High School by offering two distinct scholarship opportunities:

• Three-Year Academic Scholarship

• Trade & Vocational Scholarship

SAVCO Academic Scholarship

This $2,000 renewable scholarship supports students pursuing a traditional academic path. Funds are awarded annually following the successful completion of each academic year, beginning with the sophomore year and continuing through senior year—up to a total of $6,000.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a graduating senior from Sedona Red Rock High School

• Must attend an accredited institution of higher education in Arizona

• Must enroll in and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester

• Must provide official transcripts showing satisfactory academic progress annually

• Scholarship funds are paid directly to the institution

SAVCO Trade & Vocational Scholarship

This scholarship provides up to $1,500 to help cover the cost of training, equipment, or supplies for students pursuing a career in the trades or vocational fields. Examples include (but are not limited to): welding, electrical work, plumbing, firefighting, law enforcement, massage therapy, dental assisting, and CDL training.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a graduating senior from Sedona Red Rock High School (exceptions may be made in special cases)

• Must attend an Arizona-based accredited trade school or vocational training program

• Preference may be given to applicants with school or community service experience

• Scholarship is intended to support job readiness and career certification
