SAVCO In-Kind Contribution Terms & Conditions

By submitting an in-kind donation to the SAVCO Golf Tournament or any SAVCO-sponsored event, the donor (“Contributor”) agrees to the following terms and conditions as established by Sedona Area Veterans Community Outreach (SAVCO).

1. Acceptance of Donation All in-kind contributions are subject to review and acceptance by SAVCO. SAVCO reserves the right to decline any donation that does not align with the mission, values, or needs of the event or organization.

2. Use of Contributions Donated items, services, or experiences may be used at the discretion of SAVCO for purposes including but not limited to:

• Silent auctions or raffles

• On-site activations

• Player or attendee giveaways

•Volunteer or sponsor recognition

• Event entertainment or enhancements

SAVCO may bundle, repackage, or modify the presentation of any in-kind contribution to best serve its fundraising or community engagement goals.

3. Valuation The fair market value of all in-kind donations is to be determined and declared by the Contributor. SAVCO does not assign or verify values for tax purposes. It is the Contributor’s responsibility to maintain appropriate records and consult their tax advisor regarding any applicable deductions.

4. Recognition SAVCO will make every reasonable effort to recognize in-kind donors per their selected preferences (e.g., name listing, logo display, social media shout-outs). To ensure accurate representation, logos and materials must be submitted by the deadline provided. SAVCO is not responsible for omissions due to late or incomplete submissions.

5. Delivery & Logistics Unless otherwise arranged, Contributors are responsible for the delivery or shipment of physical items and coordination of service-based donations. SAVCO is not liable for any loss or damage to donated items in transit.

6. Liability SAVCO is not liable for any outcomes or incidents arising from the use, redemption, or execution of donated services, products, or experiences. The Contributor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless SAVCO and its representatives from any claims resulting from the donation’s use.

7. No Monetary Exchange In-kind contributions do not involve any cash transaction from SAVCO and do not constitute a paid sponsorship unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any promotional exposure or acknowledgment is considered a goodwill gesture in appreciation of the donation.

8. Cancellation & Substitution In the event that the SAVCO Golf Tournament or related event is canceled or rescheduled due to weather, acts of God, or other circumstances beyond SAVCO’s control, SAVCO will make a reasonable effort to return the item (if requested) or hold the contribution for use at a future event. However, SAVCO is under no obligation to provide compensation, alternative exposure, or return shipping.

Donor Obligation

The Contributor agrees to provide the described in-kind donation in the condition and by the date specified on the In-Kind Contribution Form.

It is the Contributor’s responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the item or service description, declared fair market value, and timely delivery or coordination. If the donation involves a service, experience, or event-based prize, the Contributor is responsible for fulfilling the commitment as described, including clear terms of redemption and valid contact information for the recipient.

SAVCO is not responsible for honoring any in-kind donation not fulfilled by the Contributor.
